Arkansas Tech University Music Students Dazzle in Statewide High School Chamber Music Tour

Seventy-five Arkansas Tech University music students embarked on a chamber music tour, thrilling audiences across seven high schools on December 6th. Showcasing their woodwind talents, students performed at Lakeside and Lake Hamilton High Schools, under the guidance of esteemed ATU faculty members Dr. Phoebe Robertson, Dr. Nathan Mensink, and Dr. Nicolas del Grazia. The high brass ensemble, directed by Dr. TJ Perry and Evan Mino, graced stages at Alma High School and Fort Smith Northside High School. Meanwhile, Cabot High School, Bryant High School, and Morrilton High School were treated to the resonant sounds of the low brass students, led by Dr. Sean Reed and Dr. Ryan Matejek. Coordinated with the help of Dr. Daniel A. Belongia and Dr. Jonathan Nash, this musical outreach was supported by the generosity of ATU Friends of Music.
